Yes, everyone knows and loves the bread bowl. The first time I encountered the bread bowl was when I had clam chowder at a pier in San Fransisco as a child. I was a fussy eater, so I blew everyone away when I ate all my soup just to get to the bread bowl. My fasinaction with edible containers still persists, especially when I'm feeling cheeky.
