  • San Francisco International Airport: A Major Foodie Destination

I wrote a post about good airport food at JFK in New York about a week ago. This is going to be Part Two of Finally! Good Airport Food. This time around I am featuring San Francisco International Airport, an airport I have visited twice in my lifetime, most recently this past July. My family and I arrived two hours earlier than normal for our scheduled flight back to NYC so that we had enough time to experience what SFO International Airport had to offer our hungry mouths. • Sunday Brunch at Jack Bistro

Every morning that I go to the gym, I always feel hungry afterwards no matter what time it may be. Yesterday after the gym, I had brunch with my sister, her boyfriend, and my boyfriend. I had a sudden craving for eggs and I didn't care in what shape, form, or taste it was as long as I had eggs.

I discovered a restaurant in Union Square, NYC after walking back and forth called Jack Bistro. More Here...

  • Baking Class, Anyone?

Even though I would call myself a baker before a chef, I still think my technique and creativity could use some sprucing up. I bake the usual cookies, cupcakes, pound cakes, and so on, but I haven’t gotten experimental in a while. My go to dessert endeavors are chocolate chip cookies, vanilla cupcakes, and brownies. Time is not on my side these days, nor is patience, so making an event of someone actually coming to my kitchen and standing there with me to make something unique might be perfect for me.

  • Super Creamy Macaroni and Cheese

This is a guest post from Kirbie's Cravings.

My macaroni and cheese recipe testing quest continued this weekend with a recipe provided to me by Marissa of Mama Sparkles, courtesy of her sister.

She provided me the recipe weeks ago and I regret waiting this long to try it. It’s definitely the creamiest macaroni and cheese recipe I’ve made yet and I really enjoyed it. There were a few more steps compared to some of the other recipes I tried, but worth it. More Here...

  • Home Remedy for Cough

This is a guest post from ChowTimes.

Spring is a love and hate season for me. I love the warmer and longer day. I love to see buds coming out from the ground and flowers start to bloom. However, this is also the season of allergy. I’m allergic to pollen and my nose will stuffed up and runny at times and my throat will be agitated by clear mucus. When these symptoms hit me, I will have sleepless night due to the cough caused by agitated throat.

I remembered Lorna told me of a remedy for cough with orange. I looked up the remedy from the internet and gave it a try. After a few times, it does help to ease my cough. There is no harm trying this because it’s just orange and salt. Orange is rich in Vitamin C and salt has antiseptic value. More Here...
