  • Restaurant Review: Eatery

A couple weeks ago my boyfriend was visiting town and we decided to spend a day in Manhattan. We purchased tickets at tkts for Nice Work If You Can Get It and proceeded to waltz down 9th Avenue for lunch. By the time we were done waiting in line for tickets we were starving, but refused to eat anything in Times Square. Onward we went for 12 blocks or so, until we stumbled upon Eatery, and agreed that it looked like a decorous place to eat. The name sounded familiar and the place was packed; this was a good sign.

A lively atmosphere consisting of currently trending music at a decent volume and people murmuring excitedly over their burgers and eggs led us to a table on the left side of the restaurant. Eatery is known for delivering creative comfort food at a reasonable price. More Here...
  • Baseball Food: Hot Dogs, Peanuts, and Cracker Jacks

The only magic in food at sports games is still left in baseball. Baseball doesn't stand out among the rest because its America's past time, it lasts forever, and it has the longest sport's season with 162 games. The food atmosphere at the ball game is completely original and unforgettable.  You eat peanuts, Cracker Jacks, and hot dogs. More Here...
  • Apple Cake

This is a guest post from ChowTimes.

Minoo served an Apple Cake as dessert for the South Arm Community Kitchen.

You can substitute carrot for the apple in this recipe. Zucchini also works well with this recipe and you can substitute the walnuts with chocolate chips for the zucchini cake. More Here...
