Oatmeal Bubble Tea at Tenren's
I recently visited Tenren's Tea Shop since I was in Chinatown and was killing time since I had to wait for my friends to go to dinner. Tenren's had a long and new line of drinks, so I decided to try one of them.
I got the Oatmeal Milk Iced Tea ($3.00). I initially wanted a lavender tea, but they only make it hot. The oatmeal milk iced tea wasn't anything special nor did it scream "WOW" to me.It tasted just like a regular milk iced tea. The only difference is there's oatmeal instead of tapioca balls inside. This drink was a bit of a let-down. I imagined that maybe the oatmeal milk iced tea would taste like oatmeal.Would I ever order this again? Probably not, since it turned out to not be what I expected. I rather invest my $3.00 on a bubble tea where the flavors are true to the name of it.Would you try the oatmeal bubble tea? Have you ever tried a food/drink that you regretted?

Bubble tea creeps me out
@shezadey@xanga - What is it about bubble tea that creeps you out?
@goodeatings - the tapioca balls at the bottom, they just look like they don't belong lol
