  • Restaurant Review: Totto Ramen

If you've heard of Ippudo, than you must have heard of Totto Ramen. Totto Ramen is another trendy and tiny ramen restaurant that ramen-fanatics line up an hour or more for.

After trying Ippudo, I knew the next ramen restaurant to try and review was Totto. My boyfriend, a friend, and I were lucky enough to try it on a Monday where it wasn't as crowded and the wait wasn't as long either.

The menu is small, but after taking a quick look I knew exactly what I wanted. I ordered the Totto Chicken Paitan Ramen which cost $9.50. I wanted to try something different other than the typical Miso and Soy sauce ramen.

The Totto Chicken Paitan Ramen were cooked al dente in a chicken and soy sauce based soup. It was topped with scallion, onion, char siu pork, and a nori. Of course I ordered a seasoned boiled egg for an extra topping.

The chicken was slightly overcooked, but still good. The bowl of ramen was heavenly. The broth was rich with flavor. Truly and amazingly tasty!

If you're visiting NYC or live in NYC, definitely try out Totto Ramen because this is a restaurant that you simply cannot pass up.

What ramen restaurants have you tried? Do you like ramen?
