Amazing Cream Cakes at Deli Manjoo
Deli Manjoo is located in Flushing Mall. While my boyfriend's cousin was visiting NYC with her boyfriend a week ago, we stopped by Flushing Mall since his cousin wanted to check it out.
We arrived around 6PM, but realized it was a total dead mall. Not sure if you would even call it a "mall".

Any how, we were walking around and stumbled upon this food stand in the mall called Deli Manjoo. My boyfriend was actually the one that found it. So we decided to give it a shot. We bought 12 pieces for $3.25.

The cakes tasted great. The pastry cream inside was lightly sweetened and delicious. It's one of the best sweet treats I've had so far! These were definitely top-notch. Deli Manjoo is truly a hidden gem and so were the cakes!Have you ever tried a sweet treat similar to this miniature cream cake?

oooh they look so yum! and so cheap! What is the Flushing Mall?
Ooohhh, they look tasty! I think I might have had something similar before, but not from Deli Manjoo.
@isitreal_no@xanga - Flushing Mall is just the name of the mall. It's really dead inside. As my friends tell me, it's only worth going to for the food.
@babybug329@xanga - Ooh I see.
I've only been to the Flushing Mall once because no one in my family lives there XD I've had these things before and they're delicious! Kind of like the hot cake dough wrapped around some tasty cream.
Franchise isn't it?
@isitreal_no@xanga - do U blocked me? tell me why?
I was just there last weekend. I go back every so often to see how shitty that place gets. There are still trace amounts of greatness there, for example, those mini cakes and food. Flushing Mall used to be a lot of fun. Now it's just a sad run-down ghost town...
looks very much like a japanese snack of vanilla sponge cake like filled with custard filling. perfect for my coffee.
