Made from leftover Prime Rib.
I love French Dip/Beef Dip Sandwiches. But the beef has to be sliced very, very thin. The only way to get beef this thin is to bring out the "Machine". I have had this commercial slicer for going on 20 years. Bought when we lived in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
It was bought for one task - to slice paper thin slice of the best homemade Italian Salami I have ever tasted. Rick's homemade Salami was worthy of having it's own machine.
Because it is a pain to clean, I only pull it out when only it will do.
Sandwiches served with Au Jus and homemade fries.
