Key lime pie beer: Weird? Or totally awesome?
This
Bon Apetite article claims that these beers are the "weirdest" in America, but I would argue with their terminology. Come on, key lime pie beer? Unusual, yes, but very cool.
And if not cool, then intriguing. And a way to break the monotony of regular ol' beer. I'm sure all the purveyors of fine ales and beer just gasped in horror.
There's a peanut butter cup coffee porter.
There's "noble rot" beer.
Of course there's bacon beer. Of course.
And there's many more at

I had a banana bread beer once. It was pretty good! I will have to say I would like to try the peanut butter coffee beer. And a key lime pie beer really couldn't be any worse than Leininkugels' Summer Shandy, could it? Definitely not my favorite beer, that one... But did I drink it? Yes. Yes, I did.
Oh that Summer Shandy was bad. We have cherry chocolate at work, not many people like it, and in conjunction we offer cherry chocolate beer floats.
I like interesting beers, but I dunno if I could drink a beer that's no longer a beer. I like my beer beer flavored.
