I picked a turkey that is of decent quality and cost efficient.  I will be stuffing my turkey with aromatics such as carrots, onions, garlic and fresh herbs.  The outside with be slathered with herbed garlic butter and cooked in the oven at a low heat with a foil cover until mostly done and then uncovered to finish cooking and brown.  Then the drippings and juices will be used to make the gravy.

@babybug329@xanga - That sounds SO delicious.  Is that the recipe you've perfected over the past four years?

@joshiro - Thanks.  Actually I am still tinkering with it.  I still need to work on the moistness, but I suppose that is more of a method/procedure concern, not an ingredient or flavor situation.  For my Friendsgiving, we're having a 20 pound turkey, I really don't think it'll be too moist.
