Last night my family came over to enjoy the Texas Rangers' game. While the game was less than glorious, the food (as always) was delicious. As a last minute inspiration, my Dad put his resourcefulness to work and created the following delicious (and arguably healthy):
What he used:
- 1/3 jar of Texas-Texas Roasted Restaurant Style Medium Salsa (though as this is a recipe of resourcefulness, you could use any salsa you like)
- 4-5 spoonfuls of plain yogurt
- a handful of low-fat Colby Jack cheese, finely shredded from a large block
What he did:
- Mix all ingredients together in the order above, and viola!
Your dip will be the talk of the party and no one will know that the ingredients were things you already had on hand and took you less than 5 minutes to make!
What is your favorite tailgating dip?

Hmmm...I think I will try this!! I'll probably use greek yogurt since it has a taste & texture SO close to sour cream & it's way healthier. One of my biggest pregnancy cravings is sour cream. If you let me, I'll eat it like ice cream...-.-;
