Favorite Pumpkin Recipes
This is a guest post from Kirbie's Cravings.
In the last month or so, my google reader has been full of Fall recipes. I’ve resisted the Fall baking, trying to cling onto summer. It’s not too hard considering it’s still in the 80s here in San Diego. Also I know once I start, I’ll go pumpkin crazy like I do every year.Pumpkin is not even my favorite vegetable so I’m not sure why I go so crazy when it comes to baking pumpkin. But once I start, I can’t stop. My pumpkin baking will begin this weekend, but before I begin, I went through my old posts and decided to round up a list of my favorite recipes for those looking for a yummy pumpkin recipe. I want to do a round-up once I’m done with pumpkin baking season this year and I think it’ll be fun to compare the lists. I’ve already compiled quite a long to-do list, filled with both old favorites and brand new ideas.
So without further adieu, here is a round-up of my favorite 15 pumpkin recipes. You can view the entire pumpkin recipe collection here. On my previous avocado round-up, readers were confused because I had no particular order. So this time, I’ve tried to rank my top 15 in order. So starting in reverse order:
14. Cinnamon Pumpkin Bubble Buns

13. Pumpkin Tea Cake

9. Pecan Streusel Pumpkin Bread

8. Double Chocolate Pumpkin Cookies

7. Two Ingredient Pumpkin Ice Cream Bread

4. Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

3. Soft Pumpkin Rolls or Double Braided Pumpkin Bread

And….

I really enjoy them all, but I love my classics and the thing that gets me most excited about pumpkin season is always pumpkin bread. (Though those donuts are a really close second!)
I hope you enjoy these recipes as much as I do! Happy Pumpkin Baking!
