Breakfast for Dinner Favorites

Breakfast for dinner anyone? I think so. Every semester my college hosts a Midnight Breakfast for students. It is a nice way to grab a free, hot meal during an all-nighter. Everyone is frantic studying for finals, and nothing beats a big plate of food after an intense study session. They serve pancakes, eggs, and sausage, among other favorite breakfast items.I give my school kudos for trying to make us stressed out students happy, but let’s just say that campus food is not the best quality or best tasting. I am considering hosting my own Midnight Breakfast event, being that I love food and cooking. I was thinking of having friends over to join forces in the kitchen for a nice study break, or have it be a pot luck type of thing.
As a breakfast food lover, I eat breakfast for dinner all the time. Here are some of my favorite breakfast for dinner items and the food I was thinking of making for my Midnight Breakfast.
Chocolate Chip Pancakes with Bacon
Does this look mouth watering or what? My favorite breakfast combination ever is pancakes and bacon, because I think bacon goes so well with maple syrup! I wouldn’t normally eat this for breakfast or dinner, but come on, finals are stressful!

Bagels and Lox with Cream Cheese
Mmm, a fresh New York bagel with salty salmon and a creamy spread. I like poppy seed bagels the best, how about you?

Scrambled Eggs and Sausage
I love dipping my eggs in ketchup and tobasco sauce!

Waffles with Fresh Fruit
My mother has a waffle maker, so whipping up homemade waffle batter and spreading it on the waffle iron would be a cinch. I’d serve them with homemade cinnamon butter.

French Toast
I’d probably serve it with fruit preserves and honey or maple syrup.

Vegetable Frittata
Delicious and nutritious. I might sneak some sharp cheddar cheese in there

What breakfast food do you eat for dinner? Would you ever host your own Midnight Breakfast?

I probably wouldn't host a Midnight Breakfast, but I definitely wouldn't mind a "breakfast for dinner" meal. I only recently tried chocolate pancakes, yum! I don't put syrup on it, the chocolate chips add just the perfect amount of sweetness. I also like toast, over easy eggs and bacon, or omelets with sauteed veggies and cheese, or scrambled eggs, ham and biscuits.
Thanks for the suggestions!
why...why do you tempt me this late at night!!!?!
The french toast looks really good :) hosting a midnight breakfast is a really cool idea, thanks!
I usually eat the same thing for breakfast every day : eggs, bacon, toast & potatoes and wouldn't mind eating it for dinner either.
Lovely Foods, especially the last one... that's just so colorful ! Nom nom nom ..
I love breakfast for dinner - especially when waffles are involved! Even on busy nights, I find that it is relatively easy to whip up a few Kellogg's Eggo FiberPlus® Waffles for a special nighttime dinner treat. -Kati Mora, MS, RD, Kellogg's FiberPlus® Wellness Advocate

This looks like a nice thing to try!
