GT's Organic Raw Kombucha Drink: Product Review
I was browsing in Fairway a few weeks ago and saw a beverage in the refrigerated section that caught my eye. It was a murky purple color and had what looked like hundreds of little seeds floating inside. I picked up the glass bottle, inspected the ingredients and nutritional label, and decided to give it a try.

GT’s Synergy Organic Raw Kombucha beverage is a classic example of something that has a strange taste and consistency, yet you find yourself liking more because of it, and it continues to draw you in every time you see it at the store. That day I tried the Synergy Grape Chia variety, which has natural grape juice, organic raw kombucha, and raw chia seeds. The beverage was slightly sweet, acidic, and much thicker than a regular juice. It was certainly different than anything I had ever drunk before, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I felt quite revitalized and energized after drinking the Kombucha beverage. It has probiotic organisms, antioxidants, and organic acids. Along with the chia seeds, this is a drink that is meant to awaken, and it did! The variety I tried even has a little bit of fiber from the seeds (not all of them have chia). It is also low in calories and sugar as compared to other beverages.
Kombucha is or is like a tea elixir, as described on the website. It has been used around the world for centuries as a promoter of health and wellness. Its fermented cultures are known to aid in a number of ailments from hair loss to indigestion. It is described as a “miracle”.
Since then I have tried the Enlightened Lavender, Multi-Green, and Gingerade, which were all enjoyable, yet my favorite still remains the Grape Chia.

Have you or would you try this beverage? What do you know about raw kombucha?

I love kombucha, my favorite is the gingerade
Yes, we buy several bottles every week. My husband loves the cherry chia, it's his favorite. I prefer the ones without seeds, and my favorites are guava, strawberry, and citrus. The original and the green are also very good.
no, but now i think i need to try some. thanks for the review
i'll wait until it goes down in price..
oh wait, Chia seed juice is commonly sold in asian grocery markets... as a child, i thought they were frog eggs.. or little eyeballs.
I loved this product so much, I got a raw unflavored one and grew a scoby so I can make my own. My favorite juice blends I mix at home are made with crushed strawberry or ginger. I'll have to try adding the chia seeds. I haven't seen that one in the stores in Victoria yet.
I really enjoy it...told to me by a friend...who makes thiers...like the green Original...have tried the synergy..will try the chia seed grape...did not know about that...very expensive to do everyday...if it was cheaper...at least A $1 I would do it more...$3.49 or $3.99 here in Maine.
