(Another) New Way to Get Drunk
An aerosol spray can containing 21 shots of alcohol is now being sold in Europe for 20 euro ($26), according to a recent article on Eater. It is designed to get you momentarily drunk right away with supposedly no side effects. It delivers 0.075 milliliters of alcohol per dose, so it is ideal for people who want to get drunk only for a short time.
This product is also great for people uninterested in the act of drinking a cocktail or a shot, which often encompasses having to use the bathroom, dehydration, extra calories, etc. Designer Phillipe Starck and scientist David Edwards have introduced this alcohol spray called Wahh Quantum Sensations. These guys also introduced a chocolate spray called “Le Whif”.
Wahh Quantum Sensations poses a threat to teens looking for a quick fix, but the price may deter them. The article proposes that it is unlikely the product will become available in America because we recently banned the sale of the caffeine spray AeroShots. So, thankfully this will not be an issue for American teens, but getting drunk from this household item will.
I would not buy this product, although if someone had a can I would try it just to see what it was like. I understand the benefits of it, because I too hate feeling thirsty after having a couple of drinks. The only selling point for me is the supposed lack of side effects attributed to normal alcoholic beverages.
Would you try this? What about the chocolate or caffeine sprays?

I would totally try this stuff. Why stifle technology because people will abuse it? Everything gets abused.
I am so glad these weren't around when I was in college. I can totally see myself using the alcohol or caffeine ones as a chaser.
I most certainly would try these, all three.
I've seen the chocolate one on ThinkGeek and always wanted to get it, but you know, I'm poor. xD

I actually enjoy the act of having a drink. I enjoy a glass of wine now and then and don't drink "to get drunk", i drink to enjoy the drink.
so for me, this product would hold no purpose as it removes the act of having a drink and only gets you drunk. Since I enjoy the act and don't get drunk, this product becomes pointless
Damn, I may have to get me some of these. I love finding new and creative ways to get drunk bahahaha. This is hilarious.

@Grtt@xanga - well there IS another spot you can put alcohol.... I saw it on Manswers, it'll get you drunk fast, but it won't be too comfortable to sit down

If I'm drinking, I'm usually with people doing it, and enjoying it that way. Except, like...right now. But I don't really see the point of this. I see drinking as a social thing, not a weird spray can.

This works for me lol. I enjoy drinking, and being drunk. But i can't have one drink without it upsetting my tummy, it seems weak these days lol. I hope we get it here. Prob not tho....stupid teenagers always get in the way of something awesome for us older folks haha.
To me this seems like the true essence alcoholism. You're skipping all social aspects associated with drinking and just getting hammered. Waste of time, waste of inventive energy.
