Early in the morning when you roll out of bed, is it bacon, sausage, or scrapple pulling you into the kitchen or to a diner for breakfast? I know people who exclusively stick to either bacon or sausage. Rarely, do I hear a call for scrapple at breakfast.
Breakfast is my favorite meal. I overload and eat till I'm tipping over from fullness. It's a necessity in my house to have a breakfast meat in abundance for everyone. Usually, bacon and sausage sit beneath the oil and grease catching paper towels on Sunday morning. Do yo need your breakfast meats like I do?

My dad is a bacon eater. He'll have his three slices, but he occasionally goes through sausage phases where he needs his Jimmy Dean sausage patties. Every person in my large family will take whatever is cooked, whether it's sausage or bacon. The smell of bacon cooking can drive me wild.

We eat sausage links and patties. We stick mainly to pork bacon, but my sister slips in Trader Joe's turkey bacon when we're not looking.

Now you're probably thinking why I mentioned scrapple? Who eats scrapple? I wasn't a scrapple supporter until I met my brother-in-law Tim. Before frying up a slice of this foreign meat, he told me that after slicing the bacon and packing the sausage the meat packers sweep up the floor and make scrapple out of it. Then he handed me a piece to try. I don't care if his description is true or not. I like eating scrapple. It's not as tasty as bacon or sausage, but it holds its own for breakfast. He's a scrapple eater and so am I.
Omelets, waffles, eggs any style, pancakes, french toast, and crepes all need a little meat. Whether the sausage or bacon is tossed in the omelet or carefully placed on the side, it needs to be there. I don't have a particular stand out favorite breakfast meat. I enjoy eating them all. When I eat these breakfast meats I drizzle a little maple syrup over top for a healthy combination.
Do you like breakfast meat as much as me? Do you eat bacon, sausage, or scrapple?

I like breakfast meats, but I can have a hearty Sunday breakfast/brunch without meat especially if I made some veggie scramble (sauteed veggies cooked with scrambled eggs--sometimes served on a corn tortilla like a taco or rolled up in a flour tortilla to make burritos). My favorites are bacon and ham/Canadian bacon. Sometimes I go for sausage (patties more than links because I am not a fan of casing) or corned beef. No turkey bacon for me, it just isn't like real bacon. I've never had scrapple before, but I've had thinly sliced pieces of Spam that has been browned like bacon in a hot pan.
"the meat packers sweep up the floor and make scrapple out of it"......Do you mean that they actually sweep with a broom and dust pan? If so, that's gross! If not, please be specific and elaborate.
@bluepillorredpill@xanga - I have no idea how they make it. I was joking about it.
If that's really how they make scrapple, then I will NEVER eat it.
I don't like eating meat for breakfast regularly. Like, bacon sandwiches are great when I'm overly tired, and a fry-up is good after a late night, but generally I prefer toast or something for breakfast. I feel sick if I eat an overly greasy breakfast :-/
Before I was a vegetarian, I didn't really care for breakfast meats. I'd eat turkey bacon once in a while, but I could take it or leave it.
I rarely eat meat for breakfast, but when I do, it is bacon.
I'm more grossed out about pink slime than scrapple..
