Ha! Huevos Spam-cheros! Very clever. Probably won't celebrate with Spam, haven't had it in ages. How about Huevos and (diced fried) Spam instead of Huevos con Chorizo?
Spam Musubi
Spam can be good. I like it as a breakfast sandwich. Pan fry the spam (so bad for you), scrambled eggs, cheese, toasted bread. Not bad.
Spam in budae jigae~~
Spicy red soup, cheese, hot dog slices, ramen, and SPAM in a stone bowl. Mmm =9
Honestly, I've never eaten Spam before. I'll have to try it one day. Those recipes encourage me.
I think I'll be making a recipe I created that was inspired by Monty Python -- SPAM, SPAM, SPAM, Baked Beans, And SPAM.
Spam is the best when camping. But I like it other times too.
omg i want these!! i love spam!! <3 :D
@LightBlue21@xanga - wow that sounds soooo delicious!! do you think they serve that at korean restaurants?? or is something that is homemade?
By not eating it.
@Jennifuk@xanga - lolol EXACTLY what I was about to write.
I feel as if I have committed a sin forgetting about Spam's birthday.... wonderful stuff... in humor and palate. ;)
@Jennifuk@xanga - Yep they definitely serve it at restaurants. I live in a college town and out of the 4 korean restaurants, I think only 1 or 2 actually adds the cheese, which is my favorite part! Maybe you can bring your own in case they don't add it? haha
Ha, nobody in England eats Spam. It was popular in the war because it's cheap (made up of water, salt, cheap meat and potato starch...yum!) but nobody buys it now. It's basically something you buy if you're poor or elderly...like, your average Joe would not go and buy it, you don't see it in restaurants and it's just considered really nasty food.
fun fact: SPAM is really popular in South Korea. They have Spam gift sets for all the big holidays.
