For All the Mythical Creature Fans..Unicorn Poop!
Yep, you read that right. I don't even remember how I came across this (my procrastinating skills on the internet never cease to amaze me) but I think it's hilariously awesome.
No need to panic, it's not real poop. It's actually made out of sugar cookie dough with food coloring in it and tons of edible sparkly toppings. You can find the recipe here, courtesy of Kristy Lynn, if you're interested in giving it a go. I'm planning on making some with my sister since I'm home for spring break. I don't think I'm going to be spending so much money on the sparkle factor (I really cannot afford to spend around $22 for cookies that are supposed to look like turds), but I think it'll be fun! I also want to see the look on my mom's face when they come out of the oven. I'll keep you updated.
Would you be willing to make cookies that look like poop or would that weird you out?

I've done poo cookies, they get a lot of laughs. Never done rainbow poo but I will now.
That's a fantastic idea! Haha. I remember as a kid being to a store down by the beach that sold seagull poop candies.
Sounds like fun but it is a lot of money to spend on things to decorate the cookies with. (But thankfully, the luster dust, food coloring and sprinkles last quite a while.) Maybe if I had kids I would make these cookies.
I don't like sugar cookies, otherwise I would totally make these just for the name! I like to make "dog chow" or "reindeer poop" which is like chex covered in peanut butter, chocolate, and white sugar... If that counts..?
Anyone ever try the kitty litter box cake recipe? lol! OMG these are so adorable I totally have to make these with the kids. They cracked up when I showed them!
