National Pie Day

I love pie. Happy National Pie Day!
Fruit pies, cream pie, and meat pie, I enjoy all of them. My husband doesn't think cream pies are real pies, but I disagree! Where I work, we celebrate every employee's birthday by ordering some kind of treat for the whole office. I requested pie including a coconut cream pie and a cherry pie.
We ended up ordering pie from the Little Pie Company in Manhattan. We got a Banana Coconut Cream Pie, a Pecan Pie and a Threeberry Pie.

What's your favorite pie?

I love french silk pie, oreo pie, turtle pie..I want to try coconut cream (because I LOVE coconut) but I'm a bit apprehensive of it in cream form
You're a little early on this one. Pi Day isn't until March 14.
@purpleranger - That's pi the number, not pie the food. However, I thought Pie Day was in December and have already celebrated. I'm not complaining, of course, I'll celebrate again!
pumpkin and apple!
I mostly go for cream pies: chocolate, banana and coconut, OR fruit pies such as apple and cherry. If cheesecake is considered a pie, then I'd celebrate with that as well, I love cheesecake.
What is your husband's reasoning for not considering a cream pie a pie? Is it because there is only 1 crust? I do find this argument a little amusing.
@voicimessecrets@xanga - I've always heard that the perfect celebration for Pi Day (also Albert Einstein's birthday, btw) was with pie. Apple pi, pumpkin pi, chocolate pi . . .
@purpleranger - I find pie to be the perfect celebration for every day
