Star Wars Burgers
Belgian fast food chain Quick will be offering Phantom Menace-themed burgers in honor of the re-release of Star Wars: Episode I in France. Three variations of the burgers will be available for a limited time: Jedi, Dark and Dark Vador.
As a Star Wars junkie, I'm secretly incredibly jealous of the French. The burgers will be available in France until March. The Darth Vador inspired burger is perhaps the most interesting with a pitch black bun! I'm curious to see how this burger fares since the bun reminds me of burnt bread--far from appetizing.
Would you try these burgers? What do you think of the black bun?

Saw this on The Feed a couple days ago. #AOTS
I had hoped it was from a global chain so I could try one. I'm assuming the bun just has food dye added to the dough. I'm also annoyed that they couldn't spell Vader properly.
Seriously WHAT are those white things on the Jedi Burger?
Um... yes! I would love to try them! om nom nom nom
That Darth Vader burger looks pretty cool.
the black buns look scary
Seems they really do spell it VadOr in France. Anyway, that bun looks like it would taste like charcoal. Interesting though.
I would eat it in a second! Give me give me!
Oh man! I would def go for both of them!
very creative, yet risky, marketing. the black bread will make you taste the bitterness the darkside brings to all who oppose it.
I would break my vegetarianism to eat that darth vader burger.
I'm a veggie, but I really wanna know what the dark bread tastes like!!!!
@xsimplepleasuresx@xanga - It's not spelled wrong... Just spelled differently. Some countries adjust names to make it fit better with their own language... We're not saying Pippi Långstrump, but longstocking. Like TinTin isn't the same everywhere either. In the Netherlands he's called Kuifje. I've read harry potter in two languages, some of the names don't even come close to the original ones. Just because it's different, doesn't mean it's wrong.
I have a feeling that if you eat these, that the Empire will strike back all night long....
I find it interesting that it's not the Darth they use dark.. anyway.
reminds me of mold. won't be eating it.
the darth vader burger doesn't look appetizing at all.
The idea is really cool.
perhaps it is dark rye bread.
looks cool :P
Thats a very cool idea!
@xsimplepleasuresx@xanga - They changed the spelling to fit the language. To them vader has always been vador.
I'd definitely try them! In my opinion I'd make the Jedi burger with grilled chicken and the Sith burger with beef! =P
If the black bun tastes normal i wouldn't mind tasting it...yum!!
@Drifter_5@xanga - Thanks for clarifying that, I had thought they made a mistake, turns out I did.
