My grandmother and mum taught me how to cook/bake some things. I just kinda took it from there and did things on my own.
Cook - living on my own. Even I can only eat so much oatmeal. Bake - friend, then experimenting on my own.
Through myself mainly. Cookbooks helped a little bit.

I also like to watch Food Network to get new ideas.
Was forced to learn some growing up. Going to culinary school.
Mostly a combination of watching my grandparents and cooking shows on TV. Also cookbooks, videos on YouTube and cooking blogs helped with other techniques. A friend cooks with me often, we alternate. One week I'll show her something I know how to make and the next week she shows me one of her specialties.

I never learned how to cook or bake.
I learned it due to being tired of my room mates lame cooking. Hamburger helpershouldn't taste bad every time you cook it... For every dinner you cook..
I learned the bulk of what I know in culinary school.
Pretty much completely self taught by experiment.
