My Top 5 Favorite Christmas Desserts
Christmas, and the holidays in general are when everyone tends to slurge! I am a sucker for cookies and sweets, so I definitely gorge on these things during the month of December. Here are my top five favorite desserts and sweets that are usually only around for the holidays:
1. My Mom's Waffle Cookies
2. Date Filled Pie Cookies
3. Peanut Butter Balls
4. Pumpkin Pie
5. Snowball Cookies
Obviously I love cookies! :D

My mom makes PB balls too, and they are DEFINITELY my favorite!!
I LOVE date-filled cookies! they're called 'mamool' in some Arab countries, and while they are rather fattening, they are sooo good!
My grammy made these to-die-for lemon cookies. They'd be delicious in the summer as well.
Cookies, for sure. I don't really make anything that is exclusively for the holidays, such as tree shaped sugar cookies, or yule logs. For my holiday baking, I make these crumbly jam squares and coconut macaroons that everyone looks forward to. They are not particularly holiday oriented, but I never seem to make them except for the holidays. Weird. Those date filled cookies look yummy

Those waffle cookies look a tiny bit like stroopwaffels (not sure how to spell) from Holland. Do you know if they're similar?

I gained 14 lbs alone this year :( No more cookies for me even though its the holidays. Gotta start early. Sad day.
I blame stress from school. And lack of care. But thats another story! I appreciate the yummy cookie photos however :P

Pumpkin or pecan pie. My all time favorite is banana pudding.
