There are a couple of food combinations that I just can't resist. These are some of my weaknesses:
1. Chocolate & Coconut
Anything with chocolate, especially dark chocolate and coconut is amazing! These are called coconut haystacks and they are my favorite 'gourmet' style candy. You can usually find them in chocolate stores, but they do sell similar candy called Coconut Nests sold in drug stores during the holidays and they are just as good.
2. Pretzels & French Onion Dip
For some reason I have this weird connection with pretzels and french onion dip and the movie The 'Burbs. There is a scene in The Burbs where Tom Hanks' character is eating pretzels and sardines, I think? I don't know, but it always looks good and I think it looks like pretzels and dip. My favorite party snack is pretzels with french onion dip and it will always remind me of this movie. I know, it kind of makes no sense.
3. French Fries & Sweet and Sour Sauce
I don't eat much ketchup, if possible I eat sweet and sour sauce on everything. I especially love sweet and sour sauce on fries and it's even better if it's from McDonald's. McDonald's sweet and sour sauce is the best!
4. Pancakes & Cheese

The best way to eat leftover pancakes is with a piece of American cheese. My dad taught me this when I was little and I've been in love with it ever since. Grab a cold (or warm) pancake and try it with a slice of cheese, it's good!
5. Soft Pretzels & Mustard

I've always loved soft pretzels, but it's only recently that I've started eating them with mustard. What a great combination! Mustard is one of my preferred condiments and brown mustard especially goes great with a warm pretzel.
What are your favorite food combinations?

gotta agree on number three!
Cucumbers and Italian Dressing. love it
I've done the second one before, but only because I ran out of chips. It was delicious!
COMPLETELY agree with number one! I loooooooooove coconut! Some other combos: caramal and seasalt, pretzels and dark chocolate.
I use leftover pancakes for sandwiches :)
I absolutely love the combination of barbeque chicken, bacon, and cheddar. Not exactly healthy, so I don't have it that much. However, my favorite diner has a wrap comprised of these three ingredients, and it is my go to food when I go there after a long night of dancing and drinking (about once a month). It tastes a million times better drunk and helps me avoid waking up with the world's worst hangover the next morning. :P
I also love chocolate combined with anything salty. Chocolate covered pretzels are great, and also Ghirardelli's Sea Salt Soiree.
I've always loved number 1. Mounds, anyone? Recently learned how freakin good 5 is. And 2 and 3 are definitely worth trying.
I've always liked eating cheese and grapes or grape juice together. I guess it's like a non-alcoholic wine and cheese thing.
potato chips and vanilla ice cream. oh man.
Popcorn & pickles! Pickle juice with cucumbers! OR Popcorn & mustard. Mmmmmm...
bacon+maple syrup+vanilla ice cream+pancakes
Pancakes and cheese.... bleck.
Best combo = Fries, Gravy, Cheese =] nom nom nom
Or fries and a vanilla shake
Or.. pizza and ranch !
@wizexel22@xanga - yes ! that's a good one =]
Hummus and turkey sandwich? Avacado and kiwi/banana/strawberry smoothie?
I love fries with sweet and sour sauce :D Anytime i get nuggets from Mcdonalds I need it on my fries lol. And Pretzels with cheese? Mmmm.. :D
@pain2beauty@xanga - POUTINE! I Have to agree with you on that one! I love fries, gravy and cheese.. Mmm.. Sadly, I dont live in Canada anymore and apparently they dont have it in the States :( Boo
@bbanmen420@xanga - Yes ! it is the best. That's so weird they don't have it over there, thank god I live in Canada haha
Pancakes and cheese sounds... Interesting. Lol. I love fries dipped in chocolate shakes and pretzels with mustard, although I hardly eat those things. Mmm...
I LOVE fries and sweet and sour sauce! I thought I was the only one. Haha. I used to not eat anything from McDonald's without dipping it in sweet and sour sauce. :)
I like grilled cheese dipped in applesauce, and crackers dipped in applesauce. I also like milk and crackers. I'm sure there's more but I can't think of anything else right now.PITA CHIPS AND GOAT CHEESE/SPINACH DIP! ;D
AHAHAHHA.
I like cheese with my pretzels..
LOTS AND LOTS of ketchup with my fries..
AND
MMM. COCONUT WITH CHOCOLATE FOR SURE!!
And... milk+anything pastry. :P
Though.. I can't consume too much of what I listed above 'cause I'm lactose-intolerant. -.-" So, I have to eat small amounts.. or I'd have to be not doing something to make myself suffer for the rest of the day. Eating those things is all worth it in the end.... I guess. .__.
Pretzels with tomato sauce is really good.
oooh deff gotta try #2 and #4 !!
@pain2beauty@xanga - what don't they have in the US? the "Best combo = Fries, Gravy, Cheese"?
My friend is visiting Canada next week....I'll tell him to try whatever it is you're talking about. =)
@wizexel22@xanga - Its called Poutine (Poo-teen LOL) , it is so delish, Every resturant seems to have it's own way of making it (different gravies, fries, or cheeses), but once you find a good one, yum yum yum =]
I've only ever tried 1 and 3 but 2 sounds delicious! I don't know about #5 though, I'm not a big mustard fan unless it's honey mustard haha.
