Ben & Jerry's Flavor Review: Cinnamon Buns
Last night I did my food shopping for the week and I managed to save myself $5 (I decided to get a rewards card)! Anyway, I took a glance inside the Ben & Jerry's freezer to see if any flavor caught my eye. I like trying different flavors each time I get a craving for ice cream.
Luckily for me, Ben & Jerry's was on sale so I got even more excited considering it's slightly expensive...even though it's worth it. I was going to get Brownie Batter because it's so good but I've already tried that so I forced myself to try another. I was searching and searching when I found it: Cinnamon Buns.
Oh my goodness. This flavor is absolutely amazing. I think it's definitely up there in my top 5 favorite Ben & Jerry's flavors. Cinnamon Buns consists caramel ice cream with cinnamon bun dough and a cinnamon streusel swirl. The ice cream taste more like vanilla with a hint of caramel to me, which I liked because it didn't taste super sweet.
There are so many pieces of cinnamon dough, which are bigger then the normal cookie dough pieces and it tastes so good with the cinnamon swirl. The cinnamon swirl has a really complements the caramel ice cream. All of these ingredients taste really delicious together unlike some flavors I've had (like the soggy chip clusters in my Late Night Snack flavor).
If you haven't tried Ben & Jerry's Cinnamon Buns then you must! It's honestly so good and I recommend it if you love cinnabons like I do. It's the perfect ice cream if you want a sweet treat.
Have you ever tried this flavor? Any flavors you love or hate?

TALK ABOUT A FOOD-GASM!
haha brownie batter is my favorite but next time i endulge in ben & jerry's i'll try this flavor =]
I LOOOVE Cinnamon Buns!! I tried this (amongst others =P) when our school's freezer broke so they started selling B&J's for a dollar each, so of course I went overboard. This was probably one of my favorite, but I also LOVED Late Night Snack (so much so, that I think it's my favorite out of all of B&J's..), I didn't have the soggy chips problem though, Chubby Hubby was also decent. What are your other favorite flavors?
I wish we had fancy ice cream like Ben & Jerry's here, the flavours all sound so amazing and delicious.
I wanna try this one http://www.benjerry.com/flavors/feature/schweddy/
But they don't have it in any stores near me... =(
Mm sounds good! I've tried cake batter, strawberry cheescake, and a blueberry flavored before. (The blueberry wasn't very good.) I will definitely be trying this next! :)
@syedanoor@xanga - Yeah mine had soggy chip clusters..it wasn't that great but I think I got just a bad batch or something.
@thecolourofwater@xanga - They don't sell Ben & Jerry's where you live?! Not even in the grocery store? You must try some!!
@noPrinceCharming@datingish - Haha they have it by me and I don't know if I'd like it...but the name makes me laugh every time I see it.
Not really a Ben & Jerry's fan.
@rachel - LOL no, not even in the grocery store... which is probably the only place they'd bother selling it anyway. I'd have to travel to try some so I'll be waiting a long time.
you try a diff. flavor every time? I must applaud you how adventurous! I'm cookies n cream all day every day (no really not everyday), and blue bells brand of it is the best!
Could not agree more on your review of this one. I've had this flavor twice and felt I was in heaven as I ate it. In fact, I ate the first pint so fast that I didn't even get a chance to review it for my blog at CrazyFoodDude.com before I inhaled the entire thing. It took a second pint (on a separate occasion; I'm not that much of a glutton!) before I remembered to take pictures. Okay, I need to stop typing about this now because I'm getting hungry thinking about it...
