  • Argentinean Steak at PorterHouse Restaurant

Long frustrating week at work and wish you could just whisk off to the grassy plains of Pampas and join macho Argentinean gauchos in herding their cattle rather than spend yet another hour on your spreadsheet, powerpoint or tough business meetings? While I can't get you air tickets, I can bring you a piece of juicy asado (Argentinean style barbecued meat) perfectly grilled by Chef Rodriguez from Cordoba, central Argentina . ;) Here it goes!

Soak in the quiet laid-back rustic feel of the place and picture yourself in somewhere far far away in the world of South America.

Presented before you, is a plate of snow-white potato puree that is to die for. It melts in your mouth and leaves a hint of delicious buttery aftertaste.

Now onto the real highlight of the show: Argentinean Asado. The 1.2kg serving is so generous that you'll probably give up on the idea of desserts mid-way through the meal. Dip your meat into the famous homemade chimichurri sauce.

And if you're not a sauce person, the original tangy and spicy flavor of the grilled steak alone will be enough to make the carnivore in you insanely happy.

That's all for tonight, folks! Thank you for coming along to our South American family dinner.

See you again soon at the next dinner gathering!
