Recipes to Try This Week: Italian Food
I can't think of anyone that doesn't love Italian food. My schedule's been pretty busy this week but now that it's winding down a bit, I'm looking forward to being able to cook a meal. My friend made spaghetti and meatballs for me awhile back using ground beef and sausage and I've been craving it. In fact, I've got the meat defrosting right now. That got me thinking of making a whole Italian spread so here's some recipes that would go great with a plate of spaghetti:
1. Everyday Italian Salad, courtesy of The Yummy Life
2. Homemade Garlic Bread, courtesy of A Sweet Pea Chef
3. And for dessert: one of my faves, Tiramisu, courtesy of Crustabakes

What's your favorite Italian dish?

I like a simple plate of spaghetti, but the 3 recipes above look delicious. I can probably eat a whole loaf's worth of garlic bread! I know it's not good to eat so much bread, but with its buttery garlic flavor, who can resist?
all this time i thought tiramisu is a japanese dish.. oi.. i've yet to try it though
I like spaghetti, I like lasagna. I LOVE garlic bread. If you have a Jimmy John's in your area, buy a couple of loaves of their day-old bread. It makes some of the best garlic bread imaginable.
I love all of those but my absolute favorite has to be spaghetti. I like to make my own garlic bread.
@purpleranger - there actually is a Jimmy Johns close to my campus. I'll have to get my bread there!
@gmgao - I might also mention that I have a pretty good recipe for garlic butter on my site, if you need one when making garlic bread.
@purpleranger - thanks, I'll def check that out!
