I have been dying to try Mellow Mushroom for a while now, it's been floating around the blog world and it always looks wicked good. Well, lucky for us we ran into a Mellow Mushroom in Denver while we were on our honeymoon.
I had no idea they had such an array of beers on tap, so it was a huge and lovely surprise to see this selection.
We decided to share a sampler since we had already consumed so much beer in the previous days.
We were surprised that they didn't have a 'Mellow Mushroom' pizza available. I mean, that is the name of the restaurant, so we decided to create out own super mushroom-y pizza.
It included 2 different kinds of mushrooms, green peppers, and cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
Mellow Mushroom totally lived up to my expectations! The pizza was gooey and delicious and the sauce tasted great. Mellow Mushroom is located in southern states, but I am really hoping they expand up the east coast because I already can't wait to try it again!

Mellow Mushroom is okay.
I miss Mellow Mushroom. I love the one in downtown Augusta. That one in particular makes you feel like you stepped right into the 60s when you walk in.
Never heard of Mellow Mushroom before. Do they have a website?
If we're talking about the big pizza chains, my favorite is Papa John's. If we're talking about local pizza places, I would recommend Wick's, Bearno's, or Tony BoomBozz if you're ever in Louisville.
I've never had Mellow Mushroom pizza before, but the pizza you ordered looks pretty tasty with those fresh looking veggies. I'm not a huge fan of chain pizzas, but I do like trying different mom-and-pop pizza places. Of course, there's a mom-and-pop shop in my hometown that I have a soft spot for because I grew up eating it.

I had it once a long time ago. Don't really remember too much of it. They are opening up near where I live next month I think. Will definitely have to try it out again.
Definitely a place I need to look out for. The pizza looks tasty and I like the selection of good beers.

Mellow Mushroom is sooooo good!
Mellow is a regular part of my routine, simply because they have a ton of vegan options for their pizzas. No other pizza place has a specific 'vegan cheese' option, and the soy cheese they use is simply incredible.
Ive had Mellow Mushroom a few times and it is pretty tasty. Their crust is usually buttery. I think I usually get the kosmic karma pizza, and it has this fancy cheese that I would never experience/buy anywhere else. I think kosmic karma is a veggi pizza too. Kinda expensive (college student speaking here), but tasty nonetheless.
Love this place! But the only one I've ever been to is the one in Chattanooga.
Aye, I eat there every Thursday night possible, after working out with a friend. Great, fresh food.
They have vegan pizza, and it's wonderful!
