Your Weekly Dose of Food P0rn: Mac & Cheese

One of my comfort foods is baked mac & cheese. My dad makes the best baked mac & cheese ever. It's so creamy and cheesy and since its baked the top gets a crunchy layer, which is my favorite. However, I can only ever have one serving of my dad's baked mac & cheese because it's such a belly bomb. It's so rich and extremely filling. He always makes it for Thanksgiving because everyone is obsessed with it. With Thanksgiving approaching, here is your dose of weekly food p0rn. Don't drool too much, foodies!Spicy Mac & Cheese

Mac and Cheese. Many can make it. Few can make it really well.
I love Mac-N-Cheese, but I never made it from scratch. I used Kraft's mac-n-cheese, but I've made varieties of it. I've made mac-n-cheese with broccoli, mac-n-cheese with spam, peas, and carrots, mac-n-cheese with spam, and mac-n-cheese with chili beans. There's a few mac-n-cheese specific restaurants I'd love to try in NYC.
loveeee mac and cheese fave comfort food! but never attempted to make it from scratch.. only with velveeta cheese.. smh..
I love mac & cheese. I do prefer making it from scratch because it tastes so much better (maybe once in a while I'll use the Velveeta boxed ones).
There was a recipe I found a few years ago in a magazine that used salsa verde and cilantro (along with cheese of course) and crushed tortilla chips on top. Definitely loved making that.
Share your dad's recipe! I would love to make it!
I absolutely love making mac and cheese. Everyone that comes over for dinner always asks "Are we having pulled pork and mac and cheese?". :P
I have never enjoyed boxed mac and cheese's such as kraft dinner, or frozen entree's. I much prefer making different ones myself.
I make one of mine spicy which is usually the one that I side with my pulled pork. I also make a vegetable mac and cheese. and also, a supreme mac and cheese.
Delicious! and great for a cold winter day. :)
I love mac n cheese!! I hope you'll share your dad's recipe too! :)
