Happy Pie Tuesday!
Oh wait, it isn't Tuesday, it's Wednesday? Either way it doesn't really matter.
Every Tuesday (or in this case Wednesday because Tuesday was the high heel race in Dupont) me and my roommate head to Dangerously Delicious on H street in DC for pie. Why Tuesday? Because Tuesday is the day I get my previous weeks tips from work and therefore actually have cash on hand that does not have to go to bills.
Tuesday also happens to be the day Glee is on (when its not on one of its many breaks) so if we bring our pie home we can have delicious pie and guilty pleasure TV to watch. What kind of tasty goodness is to be found? A quick look at their website and you can see that they have Sweet Pies (Apple Crumble and Baltimore Bomb are my favorites), Savory Pies (the hot rod potato is wicked good) and Quiches (haven't had any yet but the spinach and goat cheese one looks pretty good).
Needless to say Pie Tuesday is one of my favorite days of the week. And I fully look forward to belated Pie Tuesday after class tonight because my roomie is buying the pie in honor of my birthday. Since there is no Glee, maybe we can eat pie and watch Swing Kids (which she got me as part of my birthday present).

I don't really have a weekly ritual place to visit, try to prepare most of my meals at home. There are too many restaurants to check out than to keep going to same place every week, if I choose to.
I don't go every week, but there's this Japanese restaurant by me that I love. I'm a big fan of vegetarian sushi, and I feel like I'm in heaven when I eat their sweet potato tempura rolls and cucumber rolls.
