I'm Obsessed With: Pillsbury Holiday Shape Cookies
I must admit I am one of those people who loves to eat raw cookie dough...even though I shouldn't. My favorite dough/cookies are made by Pillsbury. I'm sure most people are familiar with the Pillsbury Holiday Shapecookies. I have a weird obsession with these cookies because I think they are so cute and so yummy, not to mention they are so easy to make.
I was browsing the Pillsbury website since they always have super easy recipes that I want to make. I stumbled upon these sweet cookie sandwiches using the Holiday Shape cookies, a can of Pillsbury frosting and colored sprinkles. These cookie sandwiches not only look adorable, but they look like they took time to bake and assemble.

Even though these are my favorite cookies, I have a little bone to pick with Pillsbury. What happened to the cut and bake log of Holiday Shape cookies?! I always loved cutting the cookies myself and now they come already cut and you just place them onto a cookie sheet. I know it's only taking out one step, but I liked to at least cut my own cookies! I still love them though.
I tend to only make these cookies for Halloween and Christmas for some reason, but there are also options for the highly celebrated holidays like 4th of July and St. Patrick's Day. I'm always looking for new ways to make simple desserts a little bit better. I love this idea for cookie sandwiches and I hope to make them this weekend for Halloween.
Do you like Pillsbury's Holiday Shape cookies? Do you know of any ways to make simple desserts special?

They are amazing.
OMG.
I LOVE THEM! they are the best cookies.
I like these when I am feeling lazy. If I make these, my son eats the homemade ones and the Pilsbury cookies stay in the jar.
Gaaah I adore these cookies! Especially the Halloween ones! ^.^
yesss, they're sooo goood!
@FuhkAwf@xanga - Try going to another food store? Maybe they will have them there :)
I think the shape cookies are so cute! I am actually glad the dough doesn't come in a log anymore to cut your own because I could never cut it without messing up the design. I am not usually a fan of sugar cookies (and have yet to make a good batch), but I will have a couple of these because they're so adorable.
Om nom nom!
sad to say but I could totally eat a whole box worth in one sitting
I'm glad I'm not the only one pissed that I can't cut my own anymore XD These are also the only sugar cookies that I think taste good.
only when they're soft in the center. i hate it when people over bake them
Im more of a Otis Spunkmeyer girl, myself. They are cute cookies though =)
omgsh! i was just talking about this with my roomates like15 mins ago! I can't believe they don't have that log thing as well for someone who has the inability to bake, just being able to cut my cookies made it that much more fun and the sense of accomplishment! dang. x) thanks for sharing!!
