My Top 5 Favorite Halloween Treats
Halloween isn't one of my favorite holidays. It never has been and I've never been a fanatic for nor have I really dressed up for it. During my childhood I never really experienced the real fun that I'm sure all kids have of trick-or-treating.
However, I managed to receive candy and treats from school and neighbors as a child. My sisters used to give me treats on Halloween as well. So with that said, these are my top five favorite Halloween treats:
1. The sight of candy corn reminds me that Autumn is here and that Halloween is inching closer, because orange and yellow are seasonal colors and best associated with Autumn.
Candy corn is combined with sugar, corn syrup, was, and water. Fondant is also added for texture and marshmallows to provide a soft bite.

2.Smarties was one of mine and my sister's favorite candies growing up. When we were younger we always got them in our treat bags as kids. It was the best!
It's funny how my sister and I used to pretend we were power rangers and that smarties would give us more power when we engaged into play time. Kids think of the silliest things.

3. Twizzlers has always been one of my favorite candies and M&M Peanuts as well. I always loved the cherry flavored Twizzlers more than the strawberry one which is always tough and hard to chew. A few years ago when my family and I went to Hershey's Park, I sure bought a lot of Twizzlers.

4. I'm not a huge fan of lollipops at all except for the classic dum dum pops. I love dum dum pops because they're tiny.
In addition, they come in a wide range of flavors such as grape, random, watermelon, sour apple, blueberry, and much more. My personal favorites have always been root beer, strawberry, butterscotch, and cream soda.
5. My abosolute favorite chocolate candy is M&M peanuts! During Halloween, I would always get a small bag with a package of M&M's and cherished every piece I consumed. My friends have found pieces that looked like a heart but, I never did. I think it's cute when it's shaped like a heart.
What are your favorite Halloween treats?

I HATE candy corn and smarties, blah! I love all kinds of gummies, though. you can NEVER go wrong with gummies :D
Candy corn. Twizzlers. Candy cigarettes. And anything gummy
Awww :) I like those caramel apple pops, any miniature chocolate bar, and homemade cookies shaped as pumpkins.
yummy m and m's
For some reasons I never like candycorn...
I love M&M!You guys call it Smarties, we call it Rockets here. I like Rockets, along with Skittles (not the yellow ones), Swedish Berries, Sour Patch Kids, Sour Cherries, and Gummy Bears!
@osmundaregalis@xanga - i was about to say the same. though i wonder what they call the actual Smarties then? aside from Rockets, we have similar taste, in addition to Twizzlers, NIBS, Fuzzy Peaches, Green Apple Caramel Pops, and Tootsie Roll Pops.
@Beb3Lika@xanga - Oooh I forgot about Fuzzy Peaches. I love them too.
For Halloween treats, I like the candy corn (even though they are soooo sweet) and those little lollipops you mentioned. Other Halloween related treats I like are popcorn balls (which you pretty much never see any more--last year my mother in law have some Pop Secret ones away and I was all excited and had to take one lol) and caramel apples.
I've never liked Candy Corn.
The only "Halloween-ish" candy I like candy apples..and idk if you can even count it? o.0
I'm more of a chocolate lover, and last few years of me going trick-or-treating I was disappointed by the few chocolate candies i get. Mostly, some cheap fruity candy. I blame the economy.
@osmundaregalis@xanga - I never had sour cherries before, but I agree gummy bears are yum yum!
