October Celebrates Delicious Foods!
The month of October not only begins the start of Fall, but it celebrates and recognizes many delicious foods. Every month there are always National "holidays" and with some research I discovered that October is filled with national food-related holidays. Here is a list of all the National holidays happening in October just as a reminder to celebrate all month long!
- Pretzel Month
- Pizza Month
- Pasta Month
- Dessert Month
- Seafood Month
- Vegetarian Awareness Month
- Popcorn Poppin' Month
- Caramel Month
- Cookie Month
- Hunger Awareness Month
- Apple Month
- Country Ham Month
- Pork Month
- Restaurant Hospitality Month
- Spinach-Lovers' Month
I was shocked to see how many food-related National holidays there were during one month. It's crazy! But I won't lie, I'm pretty excited to celebrate seeing as I love pretty much every food named on the list. What a great way to kick off the Fall season!
To check out a complete list of National months check out this site. Now go out and celebrate with a slice of pizza, a bowl of pasta and endless desserts!
Did you know of any of these National holidays existed? Do you know of any wacky ones?

What, no pumpkin month??? @_@. But hey, I can mix both caramel and apple month :p.
I don't know about you, but I find it amusing that October is both "Pork Month" and "Vegetarian Awareness Month."
