What Would Be Your Last Meal?
I always have a million thoughts going through my head on a daily basis, as I'm sure most people do. One question I always seem to ask people is "If you were on death row and had to choose one last meal what would it be?" I know this kind of seems like a grim question, but it's hard to answer and it always catches people off guard so it's funny to see their reactions.
Automatically, my response is sushi (my favorite food). But the more I think about it all these other factors come into play. I'm very picky about my sushi and the quality of it. I mean who wants to eat sushi that's not prepared fresh, right? So, then my question would be "Well where would they get the sushi from?"
So then I knock sushi out because there's a chance it might not be exactly what I wanted and then I'd be disappointed with my last meal. Then, how can I answer the question if I don't know what I'd be in the mood for? Personally, I can't eat food that I'm not in the mood for, but then again, if it's my last meal I'm sure I would eat anything.
I don't think I would pick anything that is a dish that I consider to be a home cooked meal. For instance, I really only eat steak prepared and cooked by my dad because he knows exactly how I eat it. I could never ask for a plate of spaghetti with Sunday sauce because I like my mom's Sunday sauce. You see what I mean now?
It really is a difficult question. I just love hearing people's responses because everyone is so different. I know I probably think about it way in detail than most people would. But hey, if this is my last meal I want it to be exactly what I expect. It better be satisfying and delicious.
So I ask you, what would be your last meal if you had to pick?

Depending on who still would cook for me, it's a tie between mum's chicken pot pie, devon's... anything, or Dad's pizzas :)
A chipotle burrito with tons of guac, a dozen krispy kreme donuts and a chocolate milkshake. And maybe some coffee...

I think the real question is: What WOULDN'T be my last meal?
I don't think I'd be hungry.
Right now I want bacon.
Same! I want sushi too.
sushi, pad thai, dumplings, vietnamese rice rolls, korean food, oh... the list is too long
A Chipotle burrito bowl with a side of spicy tuna rolls and pumpkin pie blizzard. To drink, hot chocolate from E.Wedel in Poland, the only real hot chocolate, in my mind, spiked with Baileys.
At least, that would be the plan right now. Mmmm. And I'd be too dead to care what would happen after a meal like that. :P

I want my last meal to be anything that my mom cooks, anything because either way I will appreciate it and love every bite and second of it.
Everything that is lovingly prepared by my family.
Anything that is expensive, superdelicious and bad for the health!
I wouldn't have a last meal, but my last food would be natural food. fresh fruits, a crunchy salad, strawberries and blueberries. No one could get that wrong =)
