Recipe: Homemade Pizza Made Super Simple
This weekend I am going to visit my boyfriend, Kevin, at his school UAlbany. Since we're both college students, we try not to spend our money like crazy by always going out to eat when we're together. We try to always cook at least one meal at home. I just recently saw a cute commercial for a super easy recipe for mini pizzas using Pillsbury Grands Biscuits.
I told Kevin that I wanted to try to make these mini pizzas because they look so easy and yummy. I love making pizza at home because you can make it to how you want it. If you like a bunch of toppings you can add whatever you want, or if you like the crust thinner or more doughy you can cook it to your personal taste. It's also a fun dinner to make with other people.
Here's the recipe:
1 can Pillsbury Grands Refrigerated Biscuits
1 cup pizza sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Toppings of your choice
Makes: 8 pizzas
Directions:
- Press each biscuit into 6-inch round. Place on greased cookie sheets. Top with pizza sauce, shredded cheese and toppings (if any).
- Bake at 375 degrees 10-15 minutes or until bottoms are deep golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
I am definitely going to try this recipe this weekend with Kevin. I'm always down for finding simple, delicious recipes that don't require a lot of time, ingredients or cleanup. According to all the reviews I read, they are very tasty and fun to make! Check out the Pillsbury website for all other simple recipes using Grands Refrigerated Biscuits.Would you try this recipe? Do you have any other simple recipes for pizza?

this one time my housemate and i both bought bagels accidentally so to use them up we made huge bagel bites! They were definitely way better than those frozen mini ones.
@kiwi_cheese@xanga - I've done that before!
I've done this. I've also taken a whole can of biscuits (or crescent rolls), pressed them together in a pizza pan, and made a regular size crust that way.
homemade pizza!
Haha I could have easily figured out the recipe for this, but thanks for the idea! My bf's stressed a lot with his engineering classes right now and I think I'll make this for him this week. :]
