  • S'mores Pops: A New Twist on a Summer Classic

I'm always on the lookout for new, easy twists on classic desserts. I try to make desserts that are different and stand out from that plate of chocolate chip brownies. As previously noted here, one of my favorite desserts to make is cake balls. S'mores pops take on the same idea as cake balls and are just as crowd pleasing.

I found out about this cute recipe from a friend of a friend. It's a super easy dessert and is a sure way to make people smile. I also like these s'mores pops because they remind me of summer...and anything that reminds me of summer is okay by me!

    Here's what you'll need:

    • 1 bag of marshmallows
    • Melting chocolate (either milk or dark)
    • Lollipop sticks
    • Crushed graham crackers

*Tip: before you start dipping the marshmallows in chocolate, it's best to crush the graham crackers and lay them out on a plate or bowl.

Step One: Put Marshmallows on Lollipop Sticks

This sounds as easy as the title. Go ahead and put the marshmallows on the lollipop sticks. Make sure you don't push the lollipop stick through the marshmallow!

Step Two: Melt Chocolate & Dip Marshmallows

Follow the directions on the bag to melt the chocolate properly without burning it. Then, dip the marshmallows in the chocolate.

Step Three: Roll Dipped Marshmallows in Crushed Graham Crackers

After dipping the marshmallows in chocolate, roll it the crushed graham crackers. Make sure to rotate the lollipop stick as you are rolling so all the sides get covered.

This dessert will definitely be a party hit! Give it a try :)

Do you have any desserts you love to make?
