The Best Dishes of This Summer
Summer is always a time of the year I enjoy because with school out of the way I'm able to enjoy food outings even more whether it's a good experience or a bad experience. I always enjoy a sense of adventure when trying new restaurants and food during the summer.
I decided to share with you the best dishes I've tried this summer that have intrigued my taste buds and myself.
Linguine alle Vongole
This would be the second time I tried Linguine alle Vongole. This is a Linguine alle Vongole with clams, garlic, crushed pepper, and white wine sauce. I'm not sure if you've noticed, but I think I've been on a clam binge! It's so good!
Any way the clams were cooked to perfection and just heavenly! I'm falling in love with this delectable Italian dish!

Crepe
I never tried a crepe before until my boyfriend and I went to Ichi-Umi (a Japanese seafood buffet located in Midtown, Manhattan). The day we went to this restaurant it was pouring cats and dogs so we decided to go for some good food at Ichi-Umi.
The crepe were freshly made and we got one with blueberry and one with strawberry filling. I decided to take the one with blueberry which was quite delicious. I definitely want to try a crepe at an authentic restaurant/place that specializes in crepes!

Char-Siu Ramen
If you've recalled from Japanese Soul Food: Ramen Noodles, I've stated that ramen noodles is heart-warming, a soul soothing bowl of heaven, and comforting! I've mostly had the packaged block of ramen noodles growing up, but having the "real" kind is a whole different experience. The texture, the taste, the presentation it's all different, but good!

Thai Iced Tea
Thai iced tea isn't a dish, but I've got to say this was the best tasting Thai iced tea I've ever had from a Thai restaurant located in Park Slope, Brooklyn called Mee Thai.
The experience at the restaurant wasn't welcoming and the dishes were below standard, but their Thai iced tea was excellent and also because there's unlimited refills on Thai iced tea and Thai iced coffee!

Ravioli di Portabello
If you've recalled from The Best Ravioli I Ever Ate!, I wrote about the best ravioli ever and it really was. I love pretty much anything with mushroom even though it's a fungus.
I've tried a lot of ravioli before, but none as delicious and appetizing as the Ravioli di Portabello. The ravioli di portabello left a remarkable memory and I look forward to experience it's incredibleness again!
This summer I tried a lot of food definitely more than I've listed, but these are the ones that I enjoyed the most and satisfied my taste buds. Although summer is coming to an end, the good food still doesn't stop! The year didn't end yet, so many more food adventures to come!
What are some foods you've tried and enjoyed thi summer?

That looks heavenly.
Those are great. I tried Penang Assam Laksa, a noodles with sour-savory broth from Malaysia, listed no.7 on the list World's Top 50 food.
Those looks good.
I tried butter crabs and also chocolates with seaweed filling which tastes so good.i love thai iced tea! a lot of times, tapioca/boba/bubble tea places ruin it by watering it down with tons of ice and whatnot, but i can never turn down thai iced tea from a thai restaurant.
and it tastes like heaven when you're trying to wash down all those spicy foods
Linguine and crepe.. I gotta have those. I like my Vietnamese drip coffee and pineapple juice.
