This has been floating around the blog world for a while, but I finally got the chance to make this the other night.
Soft serve ice cream made from one ingredient; a frozen banana.

It only takes a few minutes to whip up this tasty and healthy dessert. Some of you may be skeptical because I know I was, but this stuff was actually really good! The texture was amazing and you can easily add cocoa powder, peanut butter, or even maple syrup to it to give it some more flavor.
You will need:
- At least 1 frozen banana
- Food Processor
Cut the banana up into chunks and throw it into the food processor. Blend away until you get this rich and smooth texture.

If you are adding cocoa powder or peanut butter, put it in towards the end and then continue to blend until well mixed.
Enjoy!

I saw that recipe on a blog the other day, I might give it a try.
Wait, JUST a banana? No ice chunks or milk or anything? The 2nd photo looks like it definitely had ice mixed in at least.
does that even taste good? i wonder
Just a banana huh?! Sounds easy! Gonna try it! :)
I am an ice cream FIEND which is not so good for weight loss, so I'll definitely have to try this out! Do you peel the banana before freezing it or after? Hmmm..
@willjogforicecream@xanga - You can freeze it either way. It's easier if you peel it first though ;)
Mmmmm.
YESS I love frozen bananas!
i love banana ice cream. it's so hard to find it so now I can make my own!

Wow, if only I owned a food processor (well in my dorm...)
That's similar to what my dad makes. They're so good...I haven't had one in years, though. I should get around to making one.
I definately rec this, its pretty darn good :)
Best quick ice cream ever.
But... really, you should consider adding:
plain yogurt --
honey --
vanilla --
enough milk for an old blender to handle the frozen banana
Wow... that is easy.
Just a frozen banana and a food processor? Cool.
I think I will skip the cocoa powder or peanut butter.
I will try this. :)
i saw this as a kickstarter project not too long ago
No food processor... :( I think I'm gonna try it out with the blender though!
hint: frozen strawberries too.
I totally saw this the other day on the food network, that show 5 ingredients, but I think they added in some honey
Mmm... I will try this soon.
I tried it earlier this summer, and wasn't a fan... :/
Very raw. Love it. :)
