The Best Kitchen Smells

For me, there are just some foods that smell so great while cooking that I pretty much lose all self-control. I could have just eaten, but when I smell these foods I'm instantly craving them. It doesn't matter if I'm hungry, my appetite spikes.10 of my favorite food smells are:
- A bagel in the toaster oven
- Chili
- Grilled cheese
- Chocolate chip cookies
- Waffles
- Split pea soup
- Baked brie
- Matzo ball soup
- Coffee
- Butternut Squash
What are your favorite kitchen smells?

Ditto on the cookies. Also, bread. I've been on a huge homemade bread kick lately and it doesn't matter what kind it is...plain old sandwich bread, foccacia, banana bread, or my personal favorite (and unbelievably simple) rosemary peasant bread...it takes a lot of self-control to not eat half a loaf when it comes out of the oven!
melted butter, anything cooking in olive oil, GARLIC, bread baking, toast toasting...

* Just about any baked goodie baking: cake, cookies, bread (especially)
* Coffee brewing
* Smell of French fries cooking in hot oil (I love that smell even though I can't smell it anymore when I go to fast food places)
* Sautéing onions and garlic
* Fresh ripe strawberries
* Vanilla ("What is that yummy smell" when I walked by the mailbox--vanilla beans ordered online)
@shpadoinkle12@xanga - The smell of banana bread baking is delish! I'm scared to try making bread (besides quick breads), would you be willing to share the rosemary peasant bread recipe?
If I smell anything baked, then I would want sweets. If I smell anything grilling, I would want meat. Too bad there's no scent for vegetables, which is probably why I don't crave it yet it's the healthiest option! lol
@babybug329@xanga - Sure! http://www.makeandtakes.com/rosemary-peasant-bread
It does use yeast, but you don't have to knead it at all. Plus, I practically always have everything I need on hand to make it. If I don't have fresh herbs (which is often), I usually make it with dried dill weed or whatever else I have in the spice rack that appeals to me at the time. As delicious as it is, I'm pretty sure my favorite thing about it is how easy it is to make! :)
@shpadoinkle12@xanga - Thanks, it looks delish! Easy and versatile, too.

All the girls are angels,they are beautiful,lovely,interesting and wisdom,this part create for girls to create a better life.girls love boots. they wear them with mini skirts, jeans and sweatpants all the time. in college and they are the best to walk around campus in. you ordered the "tall" pair so you can tuck your jeans into them and wear them with skirts as well. because they are suede, they will get discolored if they get wet, but boots are meant to be worn in, and they dont look bad if they get a little beat up. we
