My First Homemade Muffins!
Well, with the help of my mum.
I am excited, although this is a very simple muffin, I am happy. Most of the time, I would just help my mum and my aunt decorate and add on the chocolate chips. This time, I made it myself, with the assistance of my mum. Initially, I just thought of making a plain simple cupcake, somehow my mother is great and kind enough to share her idea by addin in chocolates chips. YUMMY!

Most of the time, the conversations of my friends about baking cakes made me speechless because they had those awesome experiences! Yet, I did not know how to do it. Today, I did it. So, now I can add to the conversation next time.
Before putting them into the oven.

Chocolate chips. Thanks to my aunt who brought them all the way from the UK.
Done!I want to thank my aunt for bringing back delicious chocolates chips from the UK. Besides that, I also want to thank my mum for helping me. My muffins would never have been that successful if I had done it alone, for the first time!
Have you guys baked cakes or muffins? Was the first experience unforgettable?

How wonderful! My first experience was with my daughter Midori. It was a fun and unforgetable experience. The muffins aren't great but my daughter loves it.
@Born_On_Earth@xanga - I love your chocolate chips muffins, Mummy. Let's bake some more muffins!
@I_am_naughty@xanga - We will, dear, and we will make them a lot better.
@Born_On_Earth@xanga - Hurray! I love homemade muffins!!
I remember first time I baked a cake (well, helped my dad), I thought it was so cool. Now I bake all the time and do so many different cakes, cookies, brownies, etc from scratch, it's so fun! Although I have to rely on recipes.
@Born_On_Earth@xanga - it's all about the process of doing it.Not the process of muffin but the process of bonding with our family members right:)
@I_am_naughty@xanga - awww.so sweet.
@rabbitsarecool14@xanga - your dad is real cool!I also gotta rely on recipe as well:)
None of my family are keen bakers, I picked up the hobby by myself, but my first baking experience was when I was about 11. I wanted to try baking, so I borrowed a book from the local library and baked the thing which required the least ingredients, cos that would mean it would be super easy- so I baked SALT DOUGH, thinking it was something you make into a cookie (at no point did I consider the salt that was going into it and the absence of sugar ^_^;;;), not knowing that it was something you used in arts and crafts!
I'd forgotten what my family's reactions were... I think I may have repressed it :P I like to think I have improved since then :)
@jpmai2day - dough?Whoa,i never think of making that.U are so awesome and creative!
