Man Caught Making Liver Stew...Human Liver Stew.
Looks like Russia not only caught their latest Moscow killer, but found out the dude was a cannibal, too.
For a while now, dismembered body parts have been found all over Moscow. Police were avidly searching for the culprit, and checked out a few suspects. Well, the way they found out the definite killer is a bit disturbing.
After examining Nikolai Shadrin's apartment, they discovered human body parts, half-eaten, throughout his refrigerator.
In addition, they found leftover stew made from a human liver. And strangely enough, this case links to something similar happening in Slovakia, where a man searched online for someone who wanted to commit suicide and let him eat his or her body.
For more information on the victim and the story in general, check out the original article on the Huffington Post here.
Personally, I want to throw up after hearing this. Bleh! I could never. never. never.
Have you heard of any other cannibalistic activities happening around the world?

holy shit. that is absolutely sick and repulsive.
I would love to know the psychology around this...
Yes I have. Armin Meiwes was cannibal "murderer" from Germany: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armin_Meiwes
I read the book "Cannibal: The True Story of the Maneater of Rotenburg" that was about his childhood and leading up to the trial. Although the book described the gory parts in detail that didn't even come close to bothering me as much as the man he "killed". This guy chose to die and be eaten. He was filled with such self hate that it just blew your mind. If you don't have a weak stomach then I recommend the book it was very interesting nonetheless.
Guess they weren't fond of Soylent Greens?
Wow.
my one rat ate the other one. that's about all i have to say on this matter.
Did they say if he paired it with a nice chianti?
that's disturbing..
I don't condone this behavior, but he seems like an extreme attention seeker since he scattered the parts for other people, authorities to find. nobody would've known if he just ate the entire body in one stew, instead of intentionally leaving evidence around town for a cat and mouse chase.
Everyday, you and I contribute to the slaughter of innocent animals and eat them. Let this guy eat what he wants. You're no better than him.
Did you really just compare eating a human to an animal? ewww. I would definitely have to disagree with your statement.@finallybeinghonest@xanga -
Creepy...
.... I think it takes a certain mental state to commit suicide, but even if you wanted to kill yourself, do people actually want other people to eat them?
Waste not, want not, I suppose, but still, I can't help but wonder who he was talking to....
@curledupwabook@xanga - Yes, I did.
Albert Fish. He is the sickest in my opinion.

eeaaaahhhhhhhggg
Nom nom nom.
I@love_and_blackberries@xanga - I find that a bold Shiraz nicely compliments the unique tang of human flesh.
@ibroke_dnoodle@xanga - Hey I read that Wikipedia article, it took me a little while, and it is pretty damn creepy all right. I think Mr. Fish makes the character Jame Gumb in "Silence Of The Lambs" actually seem tame.
@TheCrimesOfDougMoe@xanga - He does, doesn't he? I read about him in a crime book and it had the letter which he wrote to his victim's parents, boasting how he ate their child and everything. Sick.
I love that movie "Silence of the Lambs". I need to watch it again this Halloween or so :D
@love_and_blackberries@xanga - and some fatha beans? Lulz ... sllllllurrrrrrrpppppp
@love_and_blackberries@xanga - Oh, you beat me to it, lol
Well, there was Jeffrey Dahmer.
@haloed@xanga - It's fava beans.
...Lovely. x__x
Interesting!
