I love candy just as much as the next person, but I don't eat it very often. These are the candies I make an exception for, I find it very hard to pass up these 5 because they are just so good!
1. Cadbury Mini Eggs
I don't know what is inside Cadbury Mini Eggs, but they are like crack! You eat one and before you know it you've inhaled a 64oz bag all by yourself. The chocolate inside is amazing and it creates this perfect melty-ness in your mouth. Mmmm, Cadbury Mini Eggs sure are dangerous.
2. Snickers
Snickers is my favorite candy 'bar' type of candy. I love the texture and it definitely satisfies.
3. Sour Patch Kids
Sour Patch Kids are my favorite movie candy. They are also one of the select few non-chocolate candies that I really like. They have to be the 'kids' though, for some reason I don't really like the Sour Patch Watermelon Slices.
4. Mini M&M's
Mini M&M's are way better than regular M&M's! I don't actually like plain old M&M's, but the mini ones are great and I could pop a million of them into my mouth at a time. I could easily eat a whole tub in 30 seconds.
5. Milky Way Midnight
I love dark chocolate in general, but adding dark chocolate to a Milky Way is genius. It changes taste completely, but for the better. Milky Ways are pretty good, but Milk Way Midnight's are ahhmaaazing!

yes milky way midnight is awesome when i worked in retail the boss put a bowl of assorted candies on the counter i snack on it all day
Sour Patch Kids. ♥ I like fruity candies. Starbursts, Skittles, and jelly beans ...and other yummies.
The Cadbury Mini Eggs are just solid milk chocolate, covered in a sugar shell. I will admit that I am partial to the Royal Dark version. For some reason, though, I didn't see them on the store shelves this Easter season.

I think two that I particularly like are the Milky Way Midnight and Snickers Dark bars.
I love Sour Punch Straws and Milky Way the most. I'd like to try the Milky Way midnight though.
It's hard to narrow it down to just five. I like too many different candies, and I'm not feeling up to listing them all.

I'm currently all about the Reeses minis. They are the perfect bite size.

I only recently found an appreciation for the Cadbury Mini Eggs, my husband loves them. Now I like them too, they are delicious.
1. (No particular order, just numbered...because I like to make lists.) Dark Chocolate Lindt Lindor Truffles, in the dark blue wrapper.
2. Dove Promises, milk or dark chocolate (or hearts or presents...whatever wrapper for the holiday)
3. Gummy bears, preferably the type that includes pineapple and strawberry flavored ones.
4. Dum Dum Pops, I know weird, right? They're small, perfect for when you need a little something sweet.
5. Chewy Caramel squares, like Brachs. I rarely ever see those bulk candy bins at supermarkets anymore. I loved those! I'm sure some places will still sell some bagged...but it's not the same! I also liked the jelly fruit slice candies, the ones coated in coarse sugar.
I realize I have no candy bars on my list, I do like some, but I can't do plain chocolate candy bars. They have to have some crunch or chewy, like Snickers, Milky Way (reg and Midnight) or Crunch.
snickers, reeses peanut butter cups, strawberry sour punch straws, mini m&ms, and kit kat. this is me choosing. lol. if i went on i would add 3 muskateers, twix, those ferrer rocher candies, dove milk choco bars... you know. Candy is awesome.

@Stephanie - They've been around for three or four years. They're dark chocolate, and the shells are in jewel tone colors (as opposed to the pastels of the milk chocolate Mini Eggs). But as I said, I don't remember seeing them on the shelves this year.
OMG I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THE CADBURY EGGS! LOVE THEM! i have ate an entire bag (not 64 oz though, it was only like 10 oz) in one sitting before. luckily i dont get them very often.
i also agree with the milkyway midnight.
my third favorite is probably hershey candy bars with almonds. something simplistic and perfect about that combination.
my third favorite is twix. i like the cookie with the chocolate and carmel.. yummm!!
my fourth favorite is M&M w/ peanuts and M&M dark chocolates. i have to agree that the originals just dont quite have it.
and my last favorite: dark chocolate mint three musketeers. i love musketeers and i love chocolate and mint together... so perfect combo imo! after Halloween i found a few bags on clearance for like a $1. apparently no one likes them since it was the only candy left, so i bought all the bags haha!

I've never heard of Milky Way Midnight. My favorites are Snickers, Snickers with Almonds, Mr. Goodbar, Peanut M&M's, Raisinettes, Goobers, Charleston Chews, Chocolate Covered Almonds, Sour Patch Kids, Starburst, and Skittles. I know this is a lot of candy. :)
