The other night, while dining with the IRLF team, we were talking about our love for cheese and how it's hard to pick the one that is our favorite. Indeed, it is very hard to choose just one. I love cheese, but there are definitely ones I prefer over others. I'm partial to the softer types, but a lot of the hard cheeses have a ton of flavor.
We all know cheese can be one of my many weaknesses, so it's hard to turn down. Eating too much cheese can easily cause some blockage in your digestive system, so be careful!
In no particular order, here are 5 of my favorite cheeses of all time!
1. Gouda
I love the flavor and texture of gouda. This is usually the cheese I go for first in any kind of cheese spread or layout. It also melts well and is fantastic in macaroni and cheese. It's a good snacking cheese and smoked gouda is the best!
2. Cracker Barrel Aged Reserve Extra Sharp Cheddar
This specific cheese is unbelievable good. I tried it for the the first time a couple months ago when it was on sale at the grocery store. Extra sharp cheddar has tons of flavor and this specific kind is quite addicting.
3. Goat Cheese
Goat cheese is good on everything! I love it in salads, on crackers, in pasta or just by itself. This is the best kind of
spreadable cheese, forget about that fake stuff.
4. American Cheese
I know, I know...American cheese isn't exactly real cheese, but I can't help it, sometimes American cheese is the best way to go. It melts super well, it tastes pretty darn good and it's cheap! I especially love American cheese on my steak and cheese subs, there's nothing better than that.
5. Muenster Cheese
I've always loved muenster cheese! It has a subtle flavor and in my opinion is best eaten on it's own. I of course love to put it on sandwiches, but the flavor can easily get lost. I love to just take a slice of muenster cheese, roll it up and eat it just like that!
What are your favorite types of cheese?

There's a reason why Gouda was named "Gouda": it's because it's gooooood-ah!
Haha sorry, a "cheesy" comment seemed fitting for this post. :)mmmm. i would have to sayyy, american, mozzarella, cheddar, brie, and feta.
Brie, Monterey Jack, Parmigiano-reggiano...etc. I'm not fond of pungent cheeses though.

You would probably hurt me if I said Velveeta, wouldn't you?
Seriously, though, I like just about every type of cheese. Even Venezuelan Beaver Cheese. I don't know if I could limit it to just one or two cheeses.
I think muenster is my favorite! Along with most white cheese (not including Swiss) and mild cheddar and Colby Jack.
Muenster is my absolute favorite, perfect for sandwiches! I love fresh mozzarella *drooool*. I love al cheese XD.

I've never had Goat cheese, but I like to add Munster and Gouda to my baked macaroni and cheese, along with about 5 other cheeses, lol.
Gorgonzola is a huge weakness of mine.
American? I'm ... well, I was going to say I'm grossed out, but I admit I like mac-n-cheese from the box, so I understand guilty pleasures.
Provolone cheese is my favorite <3
Now I want some cheese.
Colby jack, brie, feta, and gouda are definitely my favorites.Pepper jack, crumbled feta, gorgonzola, cheddar...does cream cheese count? =D
