Fashion Designer Inspired Cupcakes
Time to share some food porn! Or more like cupcake porn? I personally really like cupcakes because they're so small and cute. Maybe I just have a thing for frosting... I just can't eat them often enough. Although more on the expensive side for the nicely decorated ones, I admire those that can bake and decorate their own cupcakes.
Cupcakes are just springing up everywhere nowadays and have become so popular that some people even use them as wedding cake substitutes as well. Here are some fashion designer inspired cupcakes that I think are appropriately themed:
What do you think of these? Do you prefer a pretty cupcake or a tasty cupcake? Or perhaps both?

I love the Betsey and Louboutin ones. I prefer a tasty cupcake. Cause most of the time I scrape off the frosting. Unless there's a minimal amount then I'll eat it. But then a pretty one attracts me towards it... i don't know D:
The Louboutin cupcakes look scrumptious.
...The designers should feed those cupcakes to their models.
i'm not sure, cupcakes will always be cupcakes, anything else to it would just be the cherry on top

I prefer a tasty cupcake over a pretty cupcake. If it's tasty and pretty, that's cool. But definitely tasty over pretty. The ones pictured above are nice, but I don't think I'd spend the extra bucks for the decorations, because I could be satisfied with a cupcake with frosting just spread on or simply piped, with or without sprinkles.
Love cupcakes..don't like fondant.. bitter after-taste
I hardly buy in to the designer items to begin with, these really didnt seem to follow any specific themes...The betsy Johnson ones look like they could have been decorated by a 5 year old. Not that those wouldnt be delicious, but Betsy is so creative that I would expect way more from this.
The brown and red ones reminded me of something you could pick up at the grocery store.
The last two are interesting, but I dont knw that they follow any of the patterns?
To answer the question (best that I can) I think if it is a good enough baker, you can execute both cute and delish cupcakes. (which I prefer)
