  • Hi, My Name is Ali and I'm Addicted To Garlic.

Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner. Every snack and odd meal in between. Doesn't matter what food it is - it's that much better with a dose of garlic.

I may eat garlic roughly 4-5 times a day, but is that a problem? I'm going to have to say no. What's wrong with indulging in your favorite flavor?

There is just something about that punch garlic has that keeps me coming back for more. If I go a day without that delicious taste in my mouth I feel lost. If a recipe calls for garlic, I'm likely to almost double what it calls for. If I ever cook a meal for you, look forward to garlic being a key ingredient!

Of course I consume garlic in a number of different dishes, but there are some that hold a special place in my heart:

    • Breakfast - sunny side up egg with garlic, salt, pepper, and hot sauce
    • Lunch - grilled provolone and parmesan cheese with garlic, rosemary, and a dash of ranch dressing
    • Dinner - steak cooked to medium rare with half cloves of garlic throughout, a bit of salt and pepper, creamy garlic mashed potatoes on the side
    • Snack - garlic bagel with walnut raisin cream cheese

My obsession with garlic has become so large that I actually plan on getting a garlic tattoo! Call me crazy, but it's happening.

What's your food addiction? Do you view it as a problem or just an obsession?
