5 Foods That Unclog Your Intestines
My two friends and I spent forty minutes in a bar this past weekend debating over the titillating topic of whether a banana constipates you or not. We were finally enlightened by the bartender that it's not a food that makes you constipate, it's whether or not your body receives enough fiber in the rest of your diet.
So what foods should you eat to "unclog your intestines?" Check out the top 5 foods to keep you regular!
1. Prunes
2. Almonds
3. Beans
4. Brown Rice
5. Spinach
I should also note that I'm convinced avocados keep you regular, but I have no scientific evidence to corroborate my theory!
What's your favorite way to get your daily fiber quota?

I would just like to say that this is one of the most inconsistently numbered posts I have ever seen.
Additionally, I love brown rice, spinach, and almonds. They are among my staple foods.
Anything thats left in its original state ex:fruits, vegetables, legumes. Pretty much anything from the earth is going to contain fiber plus other key things like water and vitamins, also good for digestion. My favorites are prunes, prune juice, apples, almonds, black olives, mushrooms. I'm well aware of how many grams of fiber i should get in a day and no matter how good or bad i've eaten i always get the recommended dose in. I had a very bad hospital experience for severe constipation which left me traumatized.
Great list
Fucking love spinach leaves.
Good site about constipation:

Funny how you can use a word like corroborate so casually, but you don't even know how to use an apostrophe correctly (avocado's means the avocado owns something).
Other than that and the numbering, good post.
its all in my diet
@barefoot_nomad@xanga - I don't even know what went wrong with the numbering there! My bad! I used the automatic numbering tool which turned half my numbers into bullets and what not. All fixed :)
1... 1... unnumbered... unnumbered... 6?! LOOL
edit: aww the strange numbering was amusing :P
@sbaral@xanga - All good. I had a bit of a chuckle this afternoon, which was nice after classes.
yummmy i love all of the abovee
I heard that coconut is a natural laxative.
Great! I love almonds and, well basically everything on this list, haha
Anything with fiber.
You should also include natural laxatives on this list, like liqorice..
I don't hate any of these things
I love all these foods except for beans.
As I'm sitting here eating Almonds... >_>
I eat all of these things on an almost daily basis.
Best laxative ever- swallow a tablespoon of olive oil (yeah, it doesn't taste great) and drink a few glasses of water.
Beans, beans, are good for your heart . . . okay, I'll behave.
fiber one bars.
cereal and or fruit.
hahaha beans, i've heard some pretty horrendous stories about beans and camping trips XD

Of course you recognize that avocado's could also be a contraction for, "avocado is".
To illustrate, "An avocado's not nearly as trustworthy as a green pepper."
Anything with fiber, basically.
