  • Ben & Jerry's Reveal New Ice Cream Flavor

In 2007, Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream revealed a new ice cream flavor called “AmeriCone Dream”, named after The Colbert Report’s Stephen Colbert. It consists of vanilla ice cream with fudge-covered waffle cone pieces and a caramel swirl.

Last week, Ben & Jerry’s unveiled another comedian-inspired new flavor titled "Late Night Snack", and named after none other than late-night talk show host
Jimmy Fallon. Fallon's ice cream consists of vanilla bean ice cream, a salty caramel swirl, and fudge-covered potato chip clusters.

On last Thursday's episode of The Colbert Report, Colbert took the opportunity to turn Fallon's new flavor into a comedy sketch, complete with a cameo by Jon Stuart (watch the Ice Cream Fight with Jimmy Fallon clip here).

My favorite Ben & Jerry's flavor use to be Chunky Monkey, but there are so many flavors I want to try, including Fallon's. For some reason, chips mixed in ice cream does not sound to appetizing to me.
But when they are covered in fudge and mixed with a salty caramel swirl and vanilla bean ice cream, it sounds a whole lot better.

What do you think of Fallon's new ice cream flavor? What's your favorite Ben & Jerry's flavor?
