Taking Food-Scented Candles to Another Level
I’m a big fan of candles, especially ones that smell like food. I love walking into a house and the smell of a vanilla candle is permeating the air. I also really enjoy the spicy scent of cinnamon and the sweet smell of sugar cookie candles. This is why I would be a bit appalled if I walked into a household and smelled a steam-grilled burger…and there was no barbeque going on!The smell of a burger frying on a bed of onions + candles = a genius idea according to White Castle. Known for their famous mini “Sliders”, they now offer an Original Slider-Scented Candle.
That’s right, now you can get that greasy burger smell right in your living room. Yummy!
The candle comes packaged in a ceramic holder identical to White Castle’s signature cardboard sleeve of their hamburger packaging.
The candles were first introduced in May 2010 during White Castle’s 18th annual celebration of National Hamburger Month. Surprisingly, all 10,000 candles sold out in less than 48 hours and the net proceeds were donated to Autism Speaks.Would you purchase an Original Slider-Scented Candle? Oh, dude, no. No, no, no. I like eating cheeseburgers, but smelling them all the time might put me off them. Then again, that might be an excellent diet idea...
That would make me hungry all the time at first and then it would make me sick after that :(
No thanks. I try to stick with light, floral smelling candles usually. The ones that smell like cookies and cakes I only light around the holidays. I'd never want my home to smell like a greasy burger...
hmm.. I prefer fruit or flower smell candles. No food please or I would eat the candles :)

i prefer fruit scents, food candles would make me crave the unhealthy stuff

White Castle burgers don't smell good in general, so I don't think I'd ever put that scented candle anywhere in my home.
I do like the fruit scented, though, and ones like cinnamon and vanilla.
