U.S. Cities With The Most Fast Food Restaurants
The Daily Beast recently decided to compile a list of major fast food and chain restaurants in the country to see where they were the most prominent.
Among the 500 U.S. cities considered, Orlando seems to top the list the most, Louisville being a close second.
The Daily Beast looked at 30 different restaurants, some of the most popular listed below with the city they pop up the most in.
- McDonald's: 39 in Louisville, KY
- Subway: 111 in Miami, FL
- Burger King: 34 in Orlando, FL
- Wendy's: 42 in Miami, FL
- Starbuck's: 130 in Seattle, WA
- Taco Bell: 24 in Orlando, FL
- Dunkin Donuts: 66 in Boston, MA
- Pizza Hut: 22 in Orlando, FL
- KFC: 19 in Orlando, FL
Check out the original photo gallery here, which includes not only more restaurants, but also how many locations there are per 100,000 residents, the annual sales those restaurants make, and how many total are in the country.
Are you surprised by any of the cities on this list?

Orlando is a tourist trap. That's why half of the restaurants there are ones they went out of business years back but still function in Orlando.
Oh, Florida--what a mess you are.
I'm a bit surprised that Los Angeles, or California in general wasn't on the list. It seems like there is a restaurant in every which way you turn!
o_o i googled how many starbucks in nyc and the highest number that came up was 171, and for mcdonalds, 354 was the biggest number(probably not right, but that's a hell of a lot O__O).
but why does miami need 111 subways? >___> @___@
130 starbucks in Seattle whoa...
Sunshine State, ftw? Haha.
And this is why Kentucky is one of the most obese states in the MOST obese country in world...
I don't consider Subway to be fast food really because Jared lost weight by eating there.
