DiGiorno Launches One-Box Meal Combinations
However, as delicious as DiGiorno may be, it still isn't quite the same as delivery restaurant pizza. For one, there are less topping customization options (which is understandable - it would be nearly impossible for a frozen pizza company to make every option of pizza under the sun). In addition, delivery restaurants have more menu options beyond pizza, such as breadsticks, salads, desserts and wings. DiGiorno is attempting to close this gap, however.
Frozen pizza manufacturer DiGiorno has been competing with big-name delivery pizza chains like Pizza Hut, Domino's and Papa John's ever since they came out. Even their famous slogan emphasizes how they want their pizzas to be seen as a cheaper, yet still comparable, alternative to delivery: "It's not delivery, it's DiGiorno."According to the company's official Facebook page, "delicious new combinations" will be arriving in the frozen food sections of your local grocery stores very soon. Among these are what sounds like my kind of meal: Pizza & Cookies, which include a full-size DiGiorno pizza and Toll House cookie dough in one box.
As part of the same launch, DioGiorno is also offering Pizza & Wyngz (spelled in this way to indicate that they do not, in fact, contain any actual wing meat, but rather are boneless white-meat chicken tenders of some sort), complete with a full DiGiorno pizza and an appetizer/side dish of 7-8 "wyngz."
Both the Pizza & Cookies and the Pizza & Wyngs come in a variety of flavors, so there's sure to be one to please everyone!
What do you think about these new products from DiGiorno? Would you give them a try?

I guess I'd try it depending on the price... like if it's comparable to buying a DiGiorno pizza and a Toll House cookie dough roll separately. And I'd have to actually be in the mood to eat that much food. I'm not sure how these will do on the market, but I think it was a good idea.
this would be cool for a party/gathering...I'm not sure if I'd buy it for an everyday dinner with my family though.
I don't know about the cookies, that's kind of randomly put together. But I'm sure I'd give the pizza & wyngz a try or whatever. I don't love DiGiorno's pizza. I usually have to cook it a lot longer than the instructions say or else it's still soggy. But thanks for making me crave pizza anyways, lol.
We usually keep pizza in the house for "emergency" dinners on nights when I don't have time to cook. I would try them, as long as the price is better than delivery, but pizza delivery prices are getting lower and lower. I can get a pizza with wings and soda for about $10.
Stupid spelling of "wings", but I like the idea of cookies and pizza :D
Pizza and cookies.
BEST. COMBO. EVER.
Depending on the price tag, I'd be willing to try both the pizza and wyngz and the pizza and cookies.
Probably not; I'm not much of a DiGiorno fan. Now, if Tombstone were to try something similar, I might be interested.
as long as those 'wyngz' are real meat i'd try it.
Hmm i'm not too sure how I feel about this lol. I've bought the ones that included breadsticks, and we liked that. More than likely I will be trying the one with wings.. but the cookie idea? Probably not.
I don't like frozen pizzas. They're small and don't taste like pizza from pizza places. But I'd eat the cookies and wings.
because that's healthy lol
DELICIOUS COMBINATION?! o_O Take it from a dame who likes to mix things up--that's not a good combination. That's a stomach-ache or a poop-fest waiting to happen.
::Inside the board room during a brainstorm session::
"Bob you haven't contributed anything to this discussion about our bloody war with the pizza delivery chains, in fact you have sat there playing video games on your IPhone for the past hour... what are we going to call the cheap chicken tender idea Ted's brilliance gave to us???"
"Uh... derf.... Wyngz."
"Pwnage."
pizza and cookies? woot...
Why wouldn't you just buy a box of cookies or whatever it is you are craving when you buy the frozen pizza?
I can see the convenience appeal though, even though I'd never buy it.
