Whipped Cream & Chocolate Milk Grown Up Style
Drinkers around the world are probably wondering, "Why wasn't this made earlier?" Whipahol Whipped Lightening (read: alcohol infused whipped cream) retails for $10 - $13 and comes in a variety of flavors ranging from Strawberry Colada to Amaretto.While the company claims the whipped cream doesn't taste like alcohol, I can say from first hand experience that it does! Which is no surprise: A canister contains 18% grain alcohol which is equivalent to three to four beers.
This is ideal for garnishing Jell-O shots and cocktail drinks, but many are concerned that Whipahol will lead to problems as people won't regulate how much alcohol they're taking in via whip cream since whip cream seems so harmless. Whipahol is already a favorite amongst college students and retails only at liquor stores.
On that note, earlier this week Adult Chocolate Milk was introduced to the market by Tracy Reinhardt. This concoction, already a favorite of R&B artist Ginuwine, mixes chocolate milk with 40-proof vodka and will be selling at Costco. The company, Adult Beverage Co., will be coming out with Adult Orange Cream, Adult Fruit Punch and Adult Limeade in the near future.
What do you think about these alcohol infused products? Genius or asking for trouble?

wait - why do we need alcohol in our whipped cream again?
Sounds like it's worth a shot to me. My boyfriend and I will be enjoying this shortly, I just decided.
@tofloataway@xanga - "This is ideal for garnishing Jell-O shots and cocktail drinks" Just another thing to get creative with.
I recently got some of this. It isn't the whipped lighting brand, but something else. It's delish but definitely still tastes like alcohol. I put it on some vanilla ice cream. It's genius. I hate how all the energy drink beers got banned because people were stupid with it. Alcohol is alcohol. People need to be responsible with it no matter what form it's in.
@tofloataway@xanga - Exactly what I was thinking .___.
@TheExperimentalChef - completely agree with the fact that it's down to the consumer to be responsible, not the manufacturer to stop producing.
But i do think some things just don't need to be alcoholic! jello shots are already pretty potent!
@TheExperimentalChef - I agree! I don't think whipahol will be banned any time soon.
@tofloataway@xanga - Because not enough Americans are alcoholics already.
I don't need alcohol in my whipped cream. And I'm DEFINITELY not paying $13 for one can. I like my whipped cream the way it is.
They sound delicious!
I've had chocolate martinis before. I mean, I feel like it's pretty much the same idea. Have you ever had a mudslide from applebee's? lol, the whipped cream would be perfect for that.
@explosive@xanga - I HIGHLY doubt you're going to go into an AA meeting and find someone like
"Hey, I'm John Doe and alcoholic whipped cream fxcked up my life."
i'll be trying it, honestly i don't think that it is fair to blame ANY alcohol for under age drinking. how about everyone take some responsibility for their own actions .
The spiked chocolate milk makes me think of Godiva Liquer.
I think it's genius and asking for trouble. I can foresee a lawsuit sooner or later.
Um...wow...
@cheesecakeloverk@xanga - LoL!!!
i loveeee whip cream. but not with alcohol!!!
i have a few and love them. especially the strawberry whipped cream
@tofloataway@xanga - ...and in our chocolate milk?
I don't think the taste of vodka works with the natural yummy goodness of chocolate milk.
@turnyalightsdownlow@xanga - Yeah, especially since they're not even supposed to have it anyway!
@Sionainne@xanga - agreed!!
really? they are calling it "adult chocolate mlik"?
really?
that seems quite idiotic...
who would want to mix chocolate milk and alcohol?
the whipped cream idea is probably not so great either but atleast it can be used as a topping..even though at the same time..if someone grabs it without thinking about it..oh look alcohol posioning.
this stuff is worse than four loko.
because to younger kids, they are like oohh whipped cream yummy or oohh chocolate milk..bamm death.
good job targeting not just college students but those still in diapers.
Um, this has been around for YEARS. At least, in England anyway. Brandy cream for Christmas pudding, anyone? It's exactly the same idea. It's barely got any alcohol in it - you don't overdose your food with cream, it's just an added condiment. People need to stop getting their knickers in a twist about everything.
Don't like it? Don't buy it and stop whining.
I think the Whipped Cream could get some people into trouble...or maybe with alcohol poisoning, but if the creator is going to make money for a little while, why not?
I think the Chocolate Milk almost has to taste badly. Then again, there isn't much alcohol that doesn't...ehhh.
Nice.
