I used to struggle with eating disorders, specifically binging and purging, but I've found that ever since I became a vegetarian, that struggle diminished. That's opposite for a lot of people, but I found myself getting excited about food, both cooking
and eating it.
Tonight, I was looking up easy vegetarian recipes online, which made me want to cook something. Unfortunately, I hadn't gone grocery shopping for my next recipe in my album, so all I had was some of my favorite foods that are always around the house. So, I made my first recipe. I'm super excited about it and want to share it with all of you!
What do I need?Mushrooms, brussels sprouts, and shredded cheese.
How do I cook it?First, saute fresh mushroom until brown. While doing that, take two cups of frozen brussel sprouts and thaw them in the microwave. Then, put the Brussel sprouts in the pan with the mushrooms and cook the two of them. Then add two handfuls of shredded cheese. Wait until the cheese is melted, then move the pan off the burner, and move the delicious food on to a plate.
I'm not a chef by any means whatsoever, so even I found this recipe easy to make, and since it contains some of my favorite foods, delicious!
Would you like this recipe? Are you willing to try it?

I always feel like cheese and vegetables are weird together. Otherwise that looks quite tasty!! And seasonal.
Two foods I really don't like, and one food that sometimes makes me sick. lol Not the best recipe for me.
omg i love brussel sprouts and mushrooms and cheese!!
although, i would skip the cheese, since it's fattening
Interesting combination -- and one I hadn't considered before. Any particular cheese?
This might also work with shredded cabbage.
i'd probably enjoy this... easy and quick.
I really cannot stand Brussel Sprouts! But mushrooms and cheese are good together :)
Yeah! Looks good!
Sounds/looks yummy!
Replace brussel sprouts with fettucini and you have yourself a deal. Otherwise I'd rather eat a baby.
Love this. I'm drooling already!
B'sprouts sauted in olive oil and a squeeze of lemon juice is the way to go, cheese on vegetables is just lard on nutrients, no offence
@understudy_oflife@xanga - I totally took your advice when I cooked this recipe. I substituted green beans for the cheese, added some fresh ginger, crushed rosemary, and white cooking wine. Muy delicioso!
